Job Description:
The Parts Washer operates washing equipment to remove foreign matter from the surface of metal parts. Maintains pressurized washer system.
Responsibilities:
- Cleans metal parts of all foreign materials and prepares them for painting
- Inspects parts for missing welds and other defects
- Manually dries parts
- Loads and unloads parts, tree rolls, spray cleaning area, and ovens
- Maintains the cleaning system, including hoses and spray guns
- Coordinates component flow with other departments
- All other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to wear a full bodysuit with a respirator
- Ability to use handle spraying equipment
- Ability to communicate with the factory supervisor effectively
- Must be able to communicate effectively with factory supervision
Work Environment:

- Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Able to stand (75%); walk (20%); stoop, kneel, or crouch (5%), as required.
- Ability to climb a portable ladder
- Able to wear safety glasses and foot protection throughout the shift.
- Able to wear hearing protectors (earplugs) throughout the shift while working in an environment with moderate noise levels.
