Responsible for assisting in the coordination of behavioral services for people supported as identified through close work with the person and their family/caregivers. Evaluates specific challenge areas and offers recommendations and positive approaches through written documents and direct interactions, to assist with behavior support and development of new skills that will enhance the person’s quality of life. Provides direct supervision and consultation to family and caregivers on the implementation of the written plan. Services are provided primarily within caregiver homes across Monroe County.
Minimum Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in human services field with preference given to clinical or treatment field of psychology, social work, school psychology, and applied behavior analysis. National Board certification in behavior analysis (BCBA) also accepted. Two to three years’ experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred. Training and experience in assessment techniques and behavior support plan development preferred.
Licensure/Certification
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, internal equity, and location.
