Job Summary:

SUNY Brockport's Athletic Department is comprised of 23 sports and is accepting applications to establish a pool of candidates to fill the part-time position of Head Coach of Wrestling. The Head Coach is responsible for the supervision of all aspects of the Wrestling program. This is a part-time 10-month position that reports to the Director of Athletics.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university.
  • Minimum three years successful experience in coaching Wrestling at an NCAA member institution
  • Certification in CPR, first aid, must complete AED training within three months after hire.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university.
  • Previous experience supervising professional coaching staff, preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Work Schedule:

Monday -Friday, with some nights and weekends

Salary and Benefits:

Minimum Salary is $21,581. May be benefits eligible; more information at Careers@Brockport. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
