Description
Greenlight Networks’ Vendor Relations and Procurement Manager is responsible for implementing and overseeing a process for identifying and engaging new, and overseeing existing, vendor relationships as needed to achieve the Company’s strategic objectives. As part of identifying new vendor relationships, this role will:
- Issue requests for proposals and perform vendor due diligence to assist business leaders in selecting the best vendor based on business needs;
- Assist in negotiating contracts with vendors to incorporate provisions meeting the Company’s risk, financial, and operational standards;
- Ensure contracts are fully reviewed and approved by all relevant stakeholders prior to execution;
- Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decisions;
- Identify opportunities for cost savings;
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve efficiencies within processes;
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance; and
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across the organization to drive cohesive procurement strategies.
Once a vendor is selected and a contract is executed, a successful individual in this role will establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and stakeholders, optimize, track and manage contractual terms (e.g. rates, expirations, renewals, terminations, etc.), resolve contractual and billing disputes, and be responsible for overseeing each vendor to ensure they are meeting the Company’s needs, including by ensuring that vendors are:
- Meeting the quality and performance expectations of Greenlight Networks through appropriately created and implemented service level agreements and other metrics;
- Providing cost-effective products and services and billing Greenlight Networks in accordance with agreed upon contractual terms and rates; and
- Complying with risk mitigation contractual obligations, such as maintenance of insurance or financial security requirements, and providing satisfactory evidence of compliance with applicable laws, as provided for in each contract.
- Ten (10) plus years of experience in Vendor Relations, Procurement, and/or Contract Management; Industry experience a plus;
- A track record in successfully implementing and overseeing a vendor relations program;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills;
- Strong documentation and drafting skills; and
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The annual salary for this role is between $95,000 – $125,000. The actual annual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
