Operate a bascule lift bridge, operate a control console to lift and close the bridge. Inspects bridge to clear debris from road surface and sidewalks. Performs other miscellaneous maintenance and housekeeping work such as replacing light bulbs, cleaning the control house, etc. Keeps daily log of operations. Understands rules and regulations of waterway navigation.
Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma.
