Associate Director of Admissions
Job Summary
- McQuaid Jesuit, a Catholic school in Rochester, NY, teaching boys’ grades 6-12, is seeking candidates for the Associate Director of Admission position.
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for recruiting qualified candidates for admission to McQuaid Jesuit through additional channels vs traditional feeder school/digital contacts
- Analyze demographics, develop relationships, execute programs, and collaborate with colleagues in support of his or her recruiting efforts
- Develop and execute a strategic demographic plan to hit yearly admissions goals
- Collaborate with the internal Enrollment Management team in developing, planning, and executing an overall admissions effort that increases inquiries
- Produce and oversee the circulation of original marketing materials highlighting all facets of the McQuaid Jesuit Community
- Support the Director of Enrollment Management in established departmental functions as needed
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Build an external team of volunteer parents, alumni, and current students in the demographic areas of focus
- Grow enthusiasm in the identified towns and strategize ways to raise positive awareness of the school
- Host events for prospective students in designated areas of focus
- Collaborate with the Director of Communications in developing and executing an annual marketing plan that supports his or her goals for each area, which includes but is not limited to social media, website, and electronic and print media
- Build and maintain relationships with external individuals and organizations integral to increasing McQuaid's visibility in local communities
Additional Responsibilities
- Other duties as assigned
- Maintain current demographic data about each area McQuaid students come from
- Analyze trends in this data and provide analysis in support of the admissions recruiting effort
- Identify areas of focus based on the data gathered, identify alternate channels where we were most effective, and identify additional channels to be executed next school year. This will be a constantly evolving process as demographics/Public Schools/issues in the world change
- Take part in Admission events when needed
- Meet regularly with the Director of Enrollment Management

- Flexibility to travel when necessary and work varied hours occasionally
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Education and Experience Requirements
- BA required or equivalent experience of an associate degree or a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the areas of enrollment management/admissions

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a 12-month, full-time position. (Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. – exempt level position, occasional evening and weekend hours as needed for events.)
- Salary $62,353.20.
