HR and ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSISTANT

This role will support both Human Resources and Accounts Payables.
POSITION SUMMARY
To assist the Human Resources Business Partner with the daily responsibilities of the Human Resources department, and to service the employees with assistance regarding benefits, policies, and routine Human Resources related issues. Provide financial support to the accounting team through Accounts Payable tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for full cycle recruitment activities
- Managing employee files and data in the HRIS system.
- Assist with finding answers to employees’ inquiries
- Process employees’ reimbursements and manage the tracking
- Document and maintain FMLA/STD status and duration
- Process employee change request forms in HRIS
- Assist with various company events including years of service, retirement parties, holiday parties, etc.
- Process vendor invoices accurately for weekly payment.
- Confirm vendor statements are accurate and assuring all invoices are paid.
- Investigate invoices for coding purposes.
- Make calls to vendors for collection of any credit balances on their account.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High school diploma or equivalency.
Experience: Minimum of 1 – 2 years experience in an HR or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS systems, Canva, able to navigate the company intranet. Required to gain working knowledge of Dayforce HRIS.
Work schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
