We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to join our leadership team and drive accurate reporting, strong fiscal controls, and meaningful insights to support decision-making.

Position Overview:
We are hiring a full-time Controller who will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the Triton Group and its affiliated companies. This role is a key leadership position reporting directly to the owners and will be instrumental in guiding the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AR/AP, payroll, GL, and bank reconciliations
  • Maintain and produce timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management efforts
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and all relevant financial regulations
  • Work closely with ownership on financial strategy, reporting, and long-term planning
  • Optimize and maintain accounting systems, including QuickBooks Online and Sage Intacct
  • Assist with audits, insurance renewals, and tax filings in coordination with external professionals
  • Implement internal controls and process improvements to support scalability and financial health
  • Supervise and support accounting staff as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Sage Intacct (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred, not required)
  • Experience in construction, contracting, or skilled trades industries preferred
  • Proven ability to lead financial operations in a multi-entity or growing business environment
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business owners

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
