Description

SUNY Geneseo seeks a temp hourly Environmental Health and Safety Assistant who is primarily responsible for campus wide fire drills, fire code issues and safety related issues. This position is part of the Facilities Services department and is supervised by the Director of Environmental Health and Safety.

 

Minimum qualifications:

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of fire safety equipment
  • Working knowledge AED equipment
  • Able to work flexible hours
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Interpersonal skills
  • Must demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, inclusivity and belonging
