This opportunity to join Finger Lakes Dental Care as a Floating Dental Hygienist - a full time role designed for someone who brings consistency, warmth, and excellence to multiple teams across our locations.  You'll be a key part of maintaining our standard of care whenever a teammate is out or patient demand surges.

This role helps us ensure that every patient receives the same gold-standard care, and every office stays supported and running smoothly - no matter what the day brings.

Who you are:

  • A licensed NYS Dental Hygienist (1+ years experience preferred)
  • A team player who builds quick rapport with patients and team members
  • Comfortable working with different dentists, assistants and administrative staff
  • Organized, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed.
  • WIlling and able to travel between multiple Finger Lakes Dental Care offices (typically within 15-45 minutes of each other)
  • Passionate about patient care, preventive education, and doing the right thing - even when no one is looking

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver preventive and periodontal care aligned with Finger Lakes Dental Care protocols
  • Maintain patient comfort, trust, and education - even on first visits
  • Adapt to different workflows while keeping documentation accurate and complete
  • Communicate clearly using Open Dental and Slack
  • Uphold the culture and expectations of Finger Lakes Dental Care - every location, every day
