What does a Custodian do at CNB?
A Custodian is responsible for performing a variety of duties relating to the maintenance of the Bank's buildings, grounds, and equipment. This includes vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, and emptying trash as well as sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing rooms and hallways. The Custodian will also clean windows, furniture, equipment and rest rooms. This role will also maintain proper supplies in restrooms and informs immediate supervisor of any repairs needed.
What competencies are needed to be successful in this role?
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous custodial experience preferred.
- Prior experience stripping and waxing floors highly desired.
- Basic reading and writing skills; ability to stand, stoop, reach, climb stairs, bend, lift objects weighing 50 lbs. or less;
Work Schedule: Monday - Saturday, Evening shifts, after normal banking hours, 10-15 hours per week. Additional hours may be available on occasion due to vacations of other team members. This position would clean two floors of CNB's Operations Building located at 17 Chapin St., Canandaigua, and would also clean the Lakeshore Office on Saturdays (after the branch closes at 1 p.m.).
