$55,955.00 - $78,336.00The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE
Delivers focused reporting and business analytics. Partners with the requestor to understand the business problems/challenges and creates meaningful and creative solutions that address these problems/challenges. Develops departmental and ad hoc reports in Crystal Reports, SQL tools (SSRS/T-SQL) or Tableau.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Verifies logic for reports and data analysis using advanced functionality within Microsoft SQL tools (SSRS/T-SQL), Crystal Reports, and/or Tableau or other reporting applications.
- Develops, delivers, and maintains, at the direction of senior team members, efficient reports, visualizations, and dashboard solutions to enhance end-user’s understanding of information.
- Partners with requestor to understand clinical, financial, and business requirements related to reporting applications.
- Assists with assessing and estimating requests to determine scope and effort required, at the direction of senior team members.
- Prepares and presents concise summaries to explain findings and limitations based upon actionable insight.
- Makes recommendations for changes as appropriate, in partnership with senior team members.
- Performs proper testing and validation techniques to ensure accuracy and integrity of reported or extracted data and documents the unit test and validation processes used.
- Performs analysis of operational data for operational management, performance metrics, identification of trends, and statistical variances.
- Creates and manages reports critical to the operations and performance of the department to maintain accuracy of recorded data for accreditation and compliance with federal and state Regulations.
- Creates analytics content, including reports, extracts, data visualizations, and data views based on specifications created by department leadership.
- Utilizes the UR Medical Center's Data Repositories and supporting applications in analysis.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience required
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of SQL, SSRS, Tableau, reporting and analytics project management preferred
- Critical thinking and strong problem-solving capabilities preferred
- Proven customer service orientation preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills preferred
