Compensation Range:

$17.51 - $23.64

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE
Instructs faculty, staff and affiliates in cardiopulmonary resuscitation psychomotor skills for certification or recertification as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Instructs faculty, staff, and affiliates in cardiopulmonary resuscitation psychomotor skills.
- Recommends students for certification in American Red Cross or American Heart Association CPR, according to demonstrated psychomotor skills.
- Instructs students following the curricula outlined in the BLS (Basic Life Support) Instructor Course as prescribed in the Instructor Manual Addendum of the American Heart Association New York State Affiliate, Inc.
- Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma required
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • BCLS - Basic Life Support from The American Red Cross or American Heart Association as an Instructor upon hire required
