This position is remote eligible for up to 40% of the time. Hours are typically Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Must be flexible to meet current and future business needs.

Pay and Incentive Plan:

Starting Salary:  $114,000  Pay Range: $100,921 - $127,228

In addition to competitive pay and benefits, we offer an annual performance-based incentive that rewards eligible employees for their contributions to our success.

Purpose:

This position is responsible for translating market requirements into product requirements. Leads the transformation of product concepts into actionable products/services, timelines and projects. They map existing capabilities and resources in order to execute on product/service additions, modifications, extensions or eliminations. They manage products/services through all aspects of the product life cycle insuring continuous improvement in product offerings that help customer achieve their desired outcomes. Act as product subject matter expert.

Accountabilities:

Manage product/service additions, modifications, extensions or eliminations

  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Map existing capabilities and resources to product requirements
  • Determine business tradeoffs and explain why in terms that stakeholders understand
  • Complete product risk assessments
  • Define feature and functionality for products/services
  • Develop product requirements
  • Align stakeholders on objectives
  • Approve statement of work documents
  • Provide cross-functional leadership to bring products/services to market

Maintain product roadmap

  • Illustrate the key phases of deliverables for product/services
  • Monitor product milestones
  • Negotiate priorities on roadmap with stakeholders
  • Lead innovation of product/service within existing environments
  • Balance the needs of customers and stakeholders with tradeoffs, timeline and expense
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on customer and business impact

Analyze competitive market and conditions

  • Monitor and maintain a close understanding of the competitive market and alternative offerings
  • Assess competitor strengths and weakness
  • Develop a plan for winning against the competition

Manage product life cycle

  • Monitor product/service key performance indicators
  • Use data and evidence to drive decisions
  • Evaluate promotional plans and product documents/content to ensure they are consistent with product strategy and positioning
  • Support product/service portfolio reviews, working with Product Strategist
  • Act as product evangelist to build awareness and understanding with stakeholders

Other

  • Contribute to development of annual operating plans through product/service assumptions, anticipated results, changes to offerings, and regulatory impacts
  • Work with Product Analyst on pricing execution

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience using direct customer interactions and data analytics to build successful market solutions
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple functional teams to design customer solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions with ambiguous and incomplete information
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's or Specified Advanced Degree
  • Experience working in financial services or healthcare
  • Experience working in wealth management or on business banking solutions
  • Understanding of how to navigate organizationally in order to manage and execute on product/service objectives
  • Creativity to solve problems in unique ways
