Beyond TalentEdge, in exclusive partnership with a specialized ultrasound-based systems manufacturing company in Rochester, NY, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager. This is a direct hire opportunity where a qualified candidate will have an Electrical Engineering background and experience that includes monitoring and analyzing an organization and its systems, processes, etc. for effectiveness to determine strategies for improvement, as well as managing departments, budgets, P&L’s, and collaborating with the sales and marketing team to establish and achieve sales and profit goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide oversight of the entire facility, ensuring efficient operations

Establish and implement strategic goals and growth initiatives in collaboration with the leadership team

Supervise and set goals for all departments, fostering communication between them

Plan and implement operational changes for long-term efficiency improvements in company operations

Implement business processes for effective reporting to Upper Management and Leadership

Create, review, and approve financials, P&L’s, and budgets, as well as financial tracking and reporting

Determine project budgets and schedules, managing projects and personnel accordingly

Collaborate closely with Upper Management and Leadership for strategy development, production process optimization, and Sales & Marketing activities

Prioritize and assign strategic tasks to department managers, overseeing their activities

Coordinate with shared services, IT, Finance, and HR

Undertake other projects or duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Physics or Engineering required; Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering strongly preferred; MBA preferred

Minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a project manager within a manufacturing environment

Minimum of five (5) years of operations management experience within a manufacturing environment

Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Excel

Special Position Requirements: Location in the Rochester, NY area or willingness to relocate

Domestic and international travel required; valid US passport or ability to obtain

Pay: $120,000 - $130,000 (plus bonus)
Schedule: Monday - Friday/Days
