We have an amazing opportunity for a Clinical Supervisor (Clinician III) in Rochester, NY in our Developmental Opportunities Residential Services Program

The Clinical Supervisor will be working as a team leader to provide supervision and oversight to Behavior Specialists and Behavior Analysts.

Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, and provide clinical supervision and evaluate on going performance
  • Develop and implement interventions that target the reduction of challenging behaviors and increase of prosocial behaviors.
  • Perform functional behavior assessments for youth and interpret the result
  • Collect, analyze, and present data on target behaviors as part of treatment planning process to inform data-based decision making.
  • Collaborate with treatment team to develop individual treatment plans based upon collected data.
  • Develop and deliver training and for Direct Support Professional, Assistant Supervisors and Supervisory staff
  • Provide guidance and consult with the Direct Support Professional, Supervisor, or Assistant Supervisor who provide services to children and families.
  • Generalize necessary skills for home or less restrictive environments in collaboration with families and service providers.
  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of various behavior management interventions
  • Collaborate in the ongoing development and maintenance of systems to support the practice of applied behavior analysis
  • Demonstrate ability treat children/youth and families
  • Provide clinical consultation and training to staff
  • Review progress of each youth under supervision of the team
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with others including schools, hospitals, other providers of services and law enforcement personnel
  • Ensure that quality outcomes and youth and family satisfaction are achieved and that the program meets all funder expectations.
  • Responsible for meeting any reporting requirements as requested by the funder
  • Ensure the team is fully prepared for audits and will respond to any deficiencies that are noted during audits.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Availability to periodically work evenings
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 5 + years of experience including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Must have one of the following:
    • LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Work
    • Master’s Degree from a program in a clinical or treatment field of psychology, social work, school psychology, or applied psychology.
    • A Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Master's degree in: Behavior Analysis; or a field closely related to Clinical or Community Psychology, a New York State License in Mental Health Counseling
    • Licensed Psychologist
    • Licensed Psychiatrist
  • Valid unrestricted NY State Driver's License and reliable vehicle
  • Meet agency driving and insurance standards

$57,942.00 Minimum Rate per year, $96,570.00 Maximum Rate per year, based on experience.
