We have an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Residential Supervisor to manage the day to day responsibilities of the Residential Unit at our Monroe Campus location. Responsibilities include the ability to work in a trauma informed environment, youth individual and group skills, knowledge of schedules and the ability to mentor and coach team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate, support and link, HFA mission, vision, values, goals, and strategies to everyday work
  • Establish clear, meaningful, challenging, and attainable objectives and expectations that are aligned with those of the organization
  • Align the right work with the right people; delegate tasks according to people’s strengths and interests
  • Ensure staff has the skills and resources to be successful
  • Provide staff with coaching, training and opportunities for growth to improve their skills
  • Treat staff fairly and consistently
  • Share accountability when delegating and involve staff in setting their performance goals
  • Oversee employees’ schedules to ensure adequate coverage and oversees client schedules to ensure they are well organized and well communicated
  • Handle emergency situations which may require flexibility of both time and area assignment
  • Perform all Youth Care Professional functions as required and as needed

Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of direct care experience in a residential setting; OR
    • Associate's Degree and a minimum of 2.5 years of experience; OR
    • High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Valid NYS Driver's License required
  • Must meet agency driving and insurance standards

$16.99 Minimum Rate per hour, $25.49 Maximum Rate per hour, based on experience.
