The Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for assisting the Nurse Manager in providing clinical and administrative leadership to ensure excellent health care services are provided to the children/youth enrolled in the residential treatment program.
Responsibilities:
- Provide health care case management services, and medical care, to children enrolled in a campus-based treatment program.
- Monitor and respond to client movement, including referral, admissions, health care needs and discharge planning.
- Work as a liaison between the treatment program, health care services and families.
- Assure the health care provided to the youth in care is in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Provide ongoing leadership, supervision and mentoring to health care staff to support the development and retention of an inclusive, skilled and engaged workforce.
- Assist with the development of health care practices and protocols.

Requirements:
- Current unrestricted RN license to practice in New York State
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- 1 + years in Pediatric Nursing, Developmental, Psych or Behavioral Health Nursing or related experience
- Current certification in CPR
- A valid NYS driver's license and your own reliable transportation
- Basic computer skills and programs: E-Mail, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
$54,662.00 Minimum Rate per year, $91,104.00 Maximum Rate per year, based on experience.
