Product Marketing is a highly cross-functional role that will partner closely with Product and Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, and Learning across the product lifecycle, from market testing, commercialization and launch, to growing product and service adoption and advocacy. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will serve as the positioning and messaging strategist for assigned Paychex products and services across the product life cycle.
The Senior Product Marketing Manager will need to be collaborative, customer centric, analytical, strategic, and creative. The role requires the ability to develop a deep understanding of all audience stakeholders, their needs and expectations, and act as the subject matter expert (SME) responsible for strategically and creatively translating product and service capabilities into compelling and competitive value propositions that enable GTM marketing and sales initiatives that drive aggressive growth goals.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and years of experience
Minimum of 5 -7 years of experience in product marketing, product management, commercialization, marketing or related experience
At least 4-5 years of B2B product marketing or go-to-market experience in SaaS companies is preferred
Outstanding communication and presentation skills; able to communicate effectively with all levels with proven experience in influencing decision makers
Comfortable working with data and insights to generate balanced and thoughtful points of view for how to take Paycor products to market
Positive, professional and self-motivated to build relationships and to drive work at pace and to conclusion
Proven success in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on approach
Ability to function independently, requiring minimal oversight
Ability to negotiate with others to reach agreements/ solutions that meet internal needs
Motivated by solving new challenges and problems
